The day is spent exploring the Cape Winelands where we enjoy wine tastings at different farms. Cape winelands boasts some of the most prestigious, award-winning wine farms of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. Enjoy wine tasting, cheese tasting and unparalleled scenery all while gaining knowledge about some of the most unique wines in the world.
We start the morning off at the heart of the winelands in Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch boasting great beauty and culture that is steeped in South African history. With canal-lined avenues, in the shade of giant oak trees and beautifully preserved historic buildings. The sheer vastness of wine estates on offer leaves us spoilt for choice.
Next, we journey to Franschhoek, a town with a rich history dating back to the 17th century when the French Huguenots first arrived. Known as the Gourmet Capital of South Africa, Franschhoek exudes old-world charm, nestled in a breathtaking valley and showcasing its French heritage. A monument in the town honours these early settlers.

Here, we indulge in a wine tasting before savouring the renowned culinary expertise of Franschhoek’s chefs at a restaurant of your choice on one of the many award-winning wine estates (lunch not included in the tour price). In the late afternoon, we return to your hotel.

Note: The guide will recommend wineries based on the guests’ palate and interests, or guests are welcome to choose their own.
