Ride the N2 motorway through Sir Lowry’s Pass, a scenic mountain route that crosses the Hottentots-Holland Range. Marvel at the panoramic view of the low-lying area that stretches out towards Cape Town.

Continue on to Hermanus for our 12h00 whale watching boat departure. The trip is anything between 1hr 30mins and 3hrs depending on the whales. Hermanus is most famous for the incredible Southern Right Whales that come into the bay seeking sanctuary in the cold winter months.

Following the boat ride, visit Benguela Cove for a delightful wine tasting encounter. This winery offers an experience beyond wine appreciation, showcasing art, notably the captivating new Sculpture Garden. Lunch can be enjoyed at the winery (at own expense).

Head back to Cape Town along the picturesque coastal route between Hermanus and Somerset West, via a tapestry of rustic villages, fertile farms, meandering rivers, secluded bays, and charming coves.
