Day 1 – Cape Winelands

Full Day Cape Winelands Private Tour

Departing your hotel after breakfast and we travel to the winelands. Savour and learn about world class wines at the award-winning farms of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. Under an hour’s drive from Cape Town your sensory adventure begins. During your visits you will sample many unique South African fine wines and cheeses, and benefit from the knowledge of renown wine experts. The farms themselves are a delight to the eye, some housed in historic buildings with ancient cellars. The estates are vast, covering seemingly endless rolling acres. Lunch is enjoyed in one of the many wine farms (own expense). Late afternoon, check in to your hotel in the heart of the winelands.

Day 2 – Oudtshoorn

Distance: 400km – 5 hrs

Today we Travel the well known Route 62 with its ravishing scenery and mountain passes to our accommodation located in South Africa’s beautiful Klein Karoo. The charming town of Oudtshoorn is known as the ostrich capital of the world. It is surrounded by numerous ostrich farms and the golden arid landscape of the Karoo. Late afternoon check into our accommodation. Then visit one of the many ostrich farms in the area and get to know more about these flightless birds.

Day 3 Botlierskop Private Game Reserve

Distance: 100kms / 1.5hrs

Following breakfast, we embark on a journey to explore the renowned Cango Caves. Dive into their depths with a one-hour heritage tour, uncovering their fascinating history and natural wonders. Our adventure then leads us to the picturesque Garden Route, where we arrive at Botlierskop Private Game Reserve. Upon check-in, immerse yourself in the tranquility of the surroundings before indulging in a late afternoon game drive. Search for the diverse wildlife that call this ecosystem home, all while surrounded by sweeping panoramas and majestic cliffs. Enhance your safari experience with a stay in luxurious accommodations, adding a touch of elegance to your wilderness retreat.

Overnight: Botlierskop Private Game Reserve (Luxury Tented Suite) – Full board.

Day 4 – Hermanus

Distance: 350kms / 3.5hrs

After a morning game drive we journey to the seaside town of Hermanus. Hermanus is arguably the best-known place for whale watching in the world. This town is also famed for its natural scenic beauty, featuring long stretches of pristine beaches, the most diverse Floral Kingdom in the world, mountain walks and, secluded forests. An excellent variety of restaurants, cafes and bars. Late afternoon check into your hotel. If weather permits, we’ll embark on an unforgettable three-hour whale watching excursion, seeking out the majestic Southern Right Whales amidst the vast expanse of the ocean.

Overnight: Harbour House manor house – Hermanus – Breakfast only.

Day 5 – Cape Town

Distance: 150kms / 2hrs

We conclude our safari adventure with a picturesque coastal drive to Cape Town. This marks the  end of our Safari and beginning of life long memories.
