Day 1 – Table Mountain – Cape Town

You will be collected from the airport and transferred to your hotel located at the V&A Waterfront. Have a leisured afternoon. Check in and freshen up. Weather permitting in the afternoon we visit Table Mountain. Ride the exhilarating Table Mountain cable car. Leisurely relish the panoramic views over the Mother City, flanked by the sweeping Atlantic Seaboard where Robben Island lies in Table Bay harbour. Returning back to the hotel. We have a brief stop at Afrogem jewellery for a fun factory tour. Learn how the exquisite African jewellery is manufactured and get an opportunity to walk the showroom floor to see some of these precious and semi-precious gems on display.

Dinner can be enjoyed at the hotel or V&A Waterfront where there are numerous restaurants to choose from (own expense).

Day 2 – Full Day Cape Peninsula & Penguins Private Tour

Our tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast, passing through the cosmopolitan suburb of Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay with its glorious views of the Twelve Apostles, part of the Table Mountain range. We continue to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach. We then travel on through Chapman’s Peak, one of the world’s most breath-taking coastal drives. Continuing to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve, which has magnificent fynbos vegetation, birdlife, endemic antelope species and historic lighthouse.

Lunch (not included in cost), can be enjoyed at Cape point or at any of the fascinating restaurants available enroute. We proceed on to historic Simon’s Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach.

Returning back to Cape town our journey takes us through the historic villages of Fishhoek and Muizenberg known for leisure activities like surfing, sailing and sun bathing.

Day 3 – Full Day Cape Winelands Private Tour

Check out of your hotel after breakfast and we travel to the winelands. Savour and learn about world class wines at the award-winning farms of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. Under an hour’s drive from Cape Town your sensory adventure begins. During your visits you will sample many unique South African fine wines and cheeses, and benefit from the knowledge of renown wine experts. The farms themselves are a delight to the eye, some housed in historic buildings with ancient cellars. The estates are vast, covering seemingly endless rolling acres. Lunch is enjoyed in one of the many wine farms (own expense). Late afternoon, check in to your hotel in the heart of the winelands.

Day 4 – Sanbona Wildlife Reserve

Distance: 250kms / 3.5hrs

Today we Travel Route 62 with its ravishing scenery and mountain passes to our accommodation located in Sanbona Wildlife Reserve. The days are spent enjoying morning and afternoon game drives in this Private Wildlife reserve in search of the many animal species that reside here. Your safari experience is accentuated by the panoramic landscapes and towering cliffs. Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is packed with opportunities to learn, love and explore nature around you, while residing in luxurious lodges.

Overnight: Sanbona Wildlife Reserve – Full board plus.

Day 5 – Cape Town

Distance: 350kms / 3hs 30min

Check out of the game reserve and our tour ends with a transfer back to Cape Town.
